Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Back in February Future Cinema brought to life the Ink & Paint Club from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
It was a challenge to bring the toons to life as humans as the company wanted some realism but still to stand out from the crowd. Here are some behind the scenes and action shots from the show.Jessica Rabbit was probably the most challenging as she is such an iconic figure and instantly recognizable so had to be spot on! I still was not 100% happy but considering budget and timings constraints, I think we pulled it off. The actress playing Jessica had long dark hair and we could no afford a lace wig or to dye her hair so I ordered a custom made wig as there are no good Jessica Rabbit wigs on the market (to my knowledge). I chose the colour so it added some realism and added extensions for fullness.
It was such a fun show with wonderful cast and my favorite work from the super talented costume team.
